Go4FunŽ Program in AlburyMEND.199_-_girls_stretching_(diversity)

The GO4FUN program is funded by NSW Health so is completely free for families to participate.  Go4FunŽ is a free healthy lifestyle program that supports children 7 to 13 years old to become fitter, healthier and happier.  It is a fun and interactive program developed by child health experts and backed by research that shows it really works.

Children, with the support of their parents or carers, learn how to improve their health, fitness and the way they feel about their bodies.

Father_and_Daughter_at_MENDWhat does the Go4FunŽ program involve?
  • Weekly games and activities for children;
  • Fun, interactive discussions to teach you easy and effective ways to improve children's nutrition, physical activity and self-esteem;
  • Practical demonstrations, games and tips about healthy foods, label reading and portion sizes;
  • The chance to try delicious and healthy new foods;
  • Meet new people and make new friends!

Go4FunŽ is
not a diet.  Whilst measurements are taken before and after the program for research and funding purposes, this is not the primary focus of the program. It aims to bring about a long lasting and healthy approach to living.
